This internet lecture, given by a speaker with a very strong Oriental accent, and presented in a sound quality that makes a sensible listener cringe, is actually an ugly duckling, meaning that it is a treasure in disguise: Because it’s a really good introductory presentation, actually, and if you are a student, you will appreciate it, because it gives the kind of poetical analysis like you will need in the classroom, or for an oral university exam. To me, taking the time and listening to it was a rewarding experience. Though I have to say, the background music didn’t fit at all! (Well, probably, for Kubla Khan…)
