What?! – My vacation just begun!

This is more than a random post, though: You might enjoy comparing this poem with some of Tolkien’s other poetry. As in, how the father of modern fantasy is really, let’s not be unnecessarily flattering, terribly one-dimensional in the choice of his topics: The sea, the sky, water, and the road. Over, and over, and over…

Still, one of the scenes from the movies that I enjoyed the most.

The Drinking Song

Ho! Ho! Ho! To the bottle I go
To heal my heart and drown my woe.
Rain may fall and wind may blow,
And many miles be still to go
But under a tall tree I will lie,
And let the clouds go sailing by.
