Charles Dickens’ Great Expectations gets another shot at the silver screen, in this rather Gothic-ly looking adaptation helmed by Ralph Fiennes, and Helena Bonham-Carter.
The movie garnered rather mediocre reviews at its oustings last year, but I for my part am happy with a more “pop-ish”, more dynamic version of the story that might attract younger audiences to the rather dusty novel. (IMNSHO.)
